Delvida Flaherty, Esq.
Growing up in New York City, Delvida Flaherty, Esq. has always been perfumed with music. She fell in love with music at a young age and decided to make it her livelihood. Delvida started her career in the entertainment industry in Atlanta, Georgia while attending Spelman College where she graduated magna cum laude. She later went on to earn her Doctor of Laws Degree from Emory University School of Law.

Recognizing?that the music industry is not solely based upon lyrics and beats but also about effective business management, Delvida saw this as a pivotal opportunity for her talent to flourish. She was determined to make her vision a reality. With this in mind, Flaherty Consulting & Management, LLC (FCM) was conceived. Delvida says, "Music is my passion. Musical talent is a gift, but in this industry, having talent for business is also not only a gift, but a necessity! FCM gives people the resources they need. We handle the business that they can't do, business they don't have time to handle, and sometimes business they don't even know needs to be done. We provide our clients with the opportunity to just be creative and leave the paperwork to us."

Ms. Flaherty has also developed a workbook entitled, The A&R Administration Workbook, which provides companies with a step-by-step guide to running an organized professional and economically sound A&R Administration Department.

When not working on with her clients, Delvida spends most of her spare time working with children and is actively involved with the youth ministries department of her church. Ms. Flaherty has a strong desire to bring spirituality back into the everyday lives of our children and believes that creating a strong spiritual foundation for children is the first step in creating healthy, positive and productive adults.
